Welcome To the Story of Ed and Gemma’s Wedding Day (09.08.2014)
On the morning of Ed and Gemma’s Wedding, my first port of call was a quick visit to the bride at their shared home to get some preparation shots. The house was very calm and everyone looked beautiful with hair and make-up already complete.
After spending some time with Gemma and her bridesmaids, I then went on to Saint Chad’s Church in Sedgley where Ed was waiting patiently. The service was lovely and I loved the banter between the priest and the best man. I don’t think he expected to be soaked with holy water. His face was a picture!
After the ceremony, I made my way over to the gorgeous venue, Packington Moor. This was a new venue for me and it is safe to say that I wasn’t disappointed. There are endless photo opportunities due to the stunning interior and grounds. Ed and Gemma had put a huge amount of thought, care and attention to detail in to the decoration and dressing of the venue too and the combination of red, white and black lace looked beautiful.
Without a doubt, my favourite shots from the day were in the hay bales. Ed and Gemma were thought nothing of climbing those tall stacks all for a photo. They were a photographers dream!
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a fun and happy day.
