From May 31st to June 2nd, 2023 I was delighted to be invited to photograph, the European Spice Association (ESA) General Assembly. It unfolded at the picturesque De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor. Over the course of three extraordinary days, ESA members and distinguished guests were immersed in a wealth of knowledge, networking opportunities, and memorable experiences. With the idyllic backdrop of Beaumont Estate and Windsor Castle, this event was a testament to the collaborative spirit and boundless innovation of the Events Team at AGM Events.

Day 1: Wednesday – Welcome Dinner in The Chapel
The ESA General Assembly commenced on a high note with a captivating welcome dinner on the terrace of The Chapel at De Vere Beaumont. Against the backdrop of a stunning sunset, attendees were treated to an exceptional evening of bowl food, delightful drinks, and amazing vocals performed by a two-piece band. The relaxed ambiance made it perfect for engaging conversations, networking and socialising. This perfect start to the evening set the stage for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Thursday – A Day of Insightful Presentations
Thursday witnessed a full day of guest speakers and presentations at the General Assembly, showcasing cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and visionary ideas. Esteemed representatives from the ESA and industry experts shared their expertise, inspiring attendees to explore new frontiers and pursue collaborative endeavours. The sessions were marked by thought-provoking discussions and engaging interactions, fuelling innovation and current technological advances and sustainability.
In the evening, a grand gala dinner awaited participants at the awe-inspiring Temperate House located in the Royal Botanical Kew Gardens. The elegant venue provided a breathtaking setting as attendees indulged in a culinary extravaganza prepared by the talented team at Create Food. The meticulously crafted menu showcased a fusion of flavours, complemented by an array of fine wines, prosecco, beer, and expertly crafted cocktails. As the night unfolded, laughter and conversation filled the air, and as the music played, the dance floor came alive, with attendees revelling in the joyous celebration of shared achievements and collective aspirations.
Throughout the entire event, the meticulous planning and flawless execution were evident, thanks to the extraordinary team at AGM Events. Their attention to detail and dedication ensured that every aspect of the ESA General Assembly was a seamless and enriching experience for all attendees.
Day 3: Friday – Presentations – Guided Tour and Farewell Dinner on the terrace
The final day of the ESA General Assembly began with a half-day of guest speakers and presentations, focusing on emerging trends and future prospects in Spice manufacturing. The talks inspired attendees to think beyond conventional boundaries and embrace innovative solutions, igniting a renewed sense of excitement and determination.
In the afternoon, a guided tour of the historic Windsor Castle awaited participants. Exploring the regal halls and captivating architecture of this iconic landmark provided a unique opportunity to delve into centuries of history, inspiring awe and admiration.
As the event drew to a close, a relaxed street food experience awaited everyone on the terrace. Attendees indulged in a variety of delectable cuisines from different food stalls against the backdrop of Beaumont Estate, attendees savoured the flavours while reflecting on the incredible three days they had experienced.
