The long awaited wedding of the lovely Becky and Andy at the amazing Curradine Barns had finally arrived. Although it was a little grey and drizzly on the 28th July, there was nothing that could dampen spirits.
I first met Becky and Andy some 18 months before their wedding and I knew at our first meeting that it was going to be a wedding to remember. There was so much excitement and build up around the day and meeting Becky and Andy again for the pre-wedding shoot in the bluebells reminded me just how much of a fun and relaxed day was in store.
Becky got ready with her bridesmaids in the beautiful Bride’s Dressing Room at Curradine Barns and the morning was as relaxed and calm as expected. Becky wore a beautiful a-line dress with a lace bodice and capped sleeves but still managed to add that all-important bling with her fantastic sparkly bridal shoes.
As ever, Curradine looked stunning offering its usual warm and inviting environment set in beautiful surroundings. As expected too, Becky and Andy had gone all out on the venue décor with beautiful rustic details not to mention their awesome naked cake! The flowers also added that extra special touch and kept to the natural and rustic theme with beautiful hand-tied bouquets of gyp and daisies, with a mixture of bright and pastel stocks and peonies.
We were so lucky with the weather throughout the day and even had some sunshine in spots. The stunning grounds at Curradine gave us such a beautiful backdrop for photos with my favourites being taken in the cornfields as the sun was setting. It just goes to show that even though you can’t predict the weather, the results can still be amazing.
I want to say a massive thank you to Becky and Andy for choosing me to photograph such a beautiful day. It really was an honour and I wish them both all the best for their future together.
