Lorna & Adams Wedding Birtsmorton Court

Birtsmorton Court Wedding Photography Lorna and Adam0001

I can’t quite believe its only been a month since the beautiful wedding of Lorna and Adam at the incredible Worcestershire Wedding Venue, Birtsmorton Court (@BirtsCourt) and what a day it was!!  The sun was shining, and you genuinely cannot beat a May wedding at Birtsmorton as the grounds come to life with blossoms and blooms that give off real fairytale vibes.  And it goes without saying that Adam and Lorna deserved nothing less than the fairytale!

They had been in touch only a few months before to book their wedding after deciding that life was way too short to wait around following a few health scares.  Lorna proposed to Adam whilst he was in hospital having some tests and unbeknown to her, Adam was planning to do the same a week later on a mini break in London.  There is something pretty special about both of them having a proposal and no matter how many weddings I have seen now, it certainly brought a tear to my eye when they exchanged vows.

“Brilliant! You did your photography in the background of the day so we felt comfortable and relaxed enough to get on with our day.  We are just really happy with the photos of our day. It was such a relaxed, perfect, happy day for us and we can relive that day again and again with the photos.”

FAQS

Choosing a Wedding Photographer
How do we choose the right wedding photographer?
Choosing a wedding photographer is about more than just beautiful images. Look for someone whose style you love, who makes you feel comfortable, and who has experience photographing full wedding days. A professional Worcestershire wedding photographer will also help guide your timeline, lighting choices, and portrait sessions so everything runs smoothly.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is natural, relaxed, and storytelling focused. As a Worcestershire wedding photographer, I focus on real moments and genuine emotions while capturing beautiful portraits that feel authentic and timeless.
Do you mainly shoot candid or posed photos?
Most of the day is photographed in a documentary style, capturing moments naturally as they happen. During couple portraits and family photos I provide gentle guidance so you look relaxed and confident.
Can we see full wedding galleries?
Yes. I always encourage couples to view full galleries so they can see how a complete wedding story is captured from morning preparations through to the evening celebration.
Do you give posing guidance during portraits?
Absolutely. Most couples aren’t used to being photographed, so I guide you with simple prompts and relaxed direction to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Booking & Availability
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their photographer 12–18 months before their wedding date, especially for popular summer weekends.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Your date is secured with a signed contract and booking fee.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Flexible payment plans are available to make booking your wedding photography easier.
Do you travel for weddings outside Worcestershire?
Yes, I photograph weddings throughout the UK and am always happy to travel.
Wedding Day Coverage
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Most couples choose full-day coverage so every important moment is documented—from getting ready in the morning through to the evening celebration.
When will you arrive on the wedding day?
I usually arrive around two hours before the ceremony to photograph preparations, details, and the atmosphere building before the ceremony.
Do you help plan the wedding photography timeline?
Yes. Creating a photography timeline is part of my service to ensure the day flows naturally and you get the best possible photos.
How long do couple portraits take?
Usually 15–25 minutes. I often split portraits into short sessions during the day so you can enjoy your wedding without being away from guests for too long.
How do you organise family portraits?
Before the wedding we create a list of important family photos so they can be completed quickly and efficiently.
Photography Style & Approach
What makes your photography style unique?
I focus on storytelling and genuine emotion rather than overly posed moments. My goal is to document your day naturally while creating images that feel timeless.
Do you use natural light or flash?
I use natural light whenever possible, but I also use professional lighting when needed for evening receptions or darker venues.
What if the weather is bad?
Rain or cloudy weather can actually create beautiful dramatic photos. I always have backup location ideas and lighting options if needed.
Equipment & Backup
Do you bring backup cameras and equipment?
Yes. I always bring multiple professional cameras, lenses, and memory cards.
How do you back up photos during the wedding day?
Images are recorded to multiple memory cards during the wedding and backed up immediately afterwards.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I carry professional photography insurance.
Photos & Delivery
How many photos will we receive?
Most couples receive several hundred professionally edited images from a full-day wedding.
When will we receive our photos?
Your edited gallery is typically delivered within several weeks.
Do we receive high-resolution images?
Yes. All images are delivered in high resolution so you can print them or share them online.
Do you provide an online gallery?
Yes, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images.
Can guests view or download photos?
Yes, couples can choose whether guests have download access.
Albums & Prints
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. Professionally designed wedding albums are available to preserve your memories in a beautiful printed format.
Final Question Couples Care About
Why should we choose you as our wedding photographer?
Your wedding photos are one of the few things that last long after the day is over. My goal is to capture genuine moments and tell the story of your wedding in a way that feels natural, emotional, and timeless.
