Emily and Doms Wedding, Birtsmorton Court

 

Every love story is magical but for Emily and Dom, it really was meant to be.  Having met through mutual friends while growing up, they recall pretending to be a couple just to get into a club before they were even dating!  See…written in the stars!  When Dom proposed, he wanted to make sure it was a total surprise so to throw Emily off the scent, he instigated a fake argument the night before so Emily had no idea what was coming.  The next day, with their six-month-old son in tow, they climbed to the top of the Malvern Hills and Dom dropped to one knee and asked Emily to be his forever. And, of course, she said yes!  Their gorgeous son Enzo stole the show on their pre-wedding shoot and it has never been so easy taking photos when capturing this beautiful little family. 

Emily and Dom chose the incredible Birtsmorton Court for their venue and with its rich history and breathtaking gardens, it was the perfect backdrop for their autumn wedding. The stunning manor house and moat created the most beautiful setting with the leaves turning shades of gold and orange that complemented the warmth and love of the day.

Emily looked absolutely radiant in a gown from 2 Have & 2 Hold Forever. The boutique helped her find the perfect dress that complemented the season and her personal style. Her beauty team, Bridal By Artists and Lian Young MUA, worked their magic, creating a stunning and natural bridal look.

Lily Fee Floral Designs crafted stunning floral arrangements with warm hues of burnt orange, deep reds, and golden yellows and the bouquets and venue decorations seamlessly blended with the natural beauty of Birtsmorton Court.

When it comes to the wedding entertainment, guests were treated to a mix of magic and music from the amazing and super talented Darren Campbell Magician and Capriccio Quartet.  Later in the night, Trick Productions kept the energy high with an unforgettable DJ set.

Despite a bit of rain during the day, the skies cleared just in time for an epic autumnal sunset over the Malvern Hills. The golden hour at Birtsmorton Court is like no other and it couldn’t have made an appearance for a more perfect couple!

For their drinks and canapés, Emily and Dom chose a selection of vegetarian bites and for the wedding breakfast, they curated a menu that was deeply personal:

• Starters: Pumpkin soup (a nod to their love for autumn and their little boy’s obsession with pumpkins) and bruschetta (a tribute to Dom’s Italian heritage).
• Mains: Steak pie for the meat-eaters, vegan pie for their plant-based guests, and mushroom stroganoff as a seasonal favourite.
• Desserts: Apple pie (a tradition in their relationship) and sticky toffee pudding.

Their caterer, Orchard Catering hit the brief perfectly and everyone raved about the food.

Both Emily and Dom agreed that their favourite moment from the wedding was the second they saw each other at the end of the aisle.  Every part of their journey had led to that single instant, making everything worthwhile.

From start to finish, Emily and Dom’s wedding was a heartfelt, magical celebration of their love story. Their wedding at Birtsmorton Court was the beginning of a new chapter in their happy journey together and the story gets even better with the birth of their second little one, the beautiful Norie.  What a love story!!
