My name is Paul Willetts and I live in Worcestershire with my wife Emily and our Cocker Spaniel, Archie.
I discovered my passion for photography whilst on my travels around Australia, South-East Asia and New Zealand and since then I haven’t looked back. A very proud moment for me was having one of my sunset shots published in the National Geographic Book in 2012. The image was taken in Broome, Australia and at that moment, I could never have imagined I would be lucky enough to be doing something I love so much as a career. To take a look at more of my landscape and travel shots, please visit my personal gallery.
My first ever camera was a small point and shoot so nothing particularly special but many years on (and more than £20,000 later), I now own 3 top of the range Nikon cameras with 7 lenses to choose from and plenty of other gadgets.
As a photographer, I have met many inspirational people and seen many beautiful places but one photo I have taken that will always stay with me is the photo I took of my wife and me a few moments after I proposed. I have never been so happy (and relieved!). I truly love taking photos and I believe wholeheartedly that a picture paints a thousand words.
